Our team co-sponsored the First Beijing International Music Festival in 1993. 

This was an important part of China's bid for the 2000 Olympics which then served as the basis for its hosting the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing.

In 1997, we helped bring the Stanford University Band to Qingdao to perform at the Summer Festival there.
